The Caern is located along the East and South of the Sammamish River. The Caern itself covers over 65 Acres of land. The majority of the northwest and all of the North side has the River butted up against the Plateau. The area surrounding the Caern has been made rough and dangerous to discourage the average nature enthusiast. However near the entrance to the West there is a grassy area and a series of large stones arrayed in a natural way, yet providing a place to relax and socialize while being ready for Caern Defense.
Within a half miles distance lies a shopping center, Golf Course, University of Washington-Bothell Campus and assorted amenities. The Mother's Tear Pub is within a few blocks.
