From what I've heard they have been compiling a write up on it, and it will be up soon. This week or next I believe. I would like clarification from staff on something though.

If the system is something you are working on, are the last several weeks, going to be accounted for, and have they been closely tracked??

Yep! They are being included. And, I'm happy to say, as more and more galliards are turning in their cards, this is starting to take shape very nicely.

Now we just need to poke the ragabash into taking more action.

There have been changes to the length of time that it takes to learn a Gift from a Garou, these should be put up too.

There was a question about rules that appear in other white wolf books, for example, going 'full defensive' is a combat function that appears in Mage, Changeling and Vampire, but not in the text of Werewolf Revised. It's a common system for defensive actions across the games put out by WW though. I can provide more details regarding this if asked.

Also I couldn't find another common rule - regarding aborting to a defensive action by spending a willpower in the Werewolf core book. Again, a commonly understood rule in white wolf games, but I couldn't find it in the book anywhere (maybe I just fail at looking things up).

Whichever staff continues, I'd like calls on that.

Werewolf core book Pg 206 it says:

Changing Actions: Normally, once a player has declared an action, she may not change it. If she has a good reason to do so (a packmate kills her character's intended target, for example) she may change her action, but she adds one to the difficulty. Aborting to a defensive action does not change the difficulty of said action.

Thanks Dan N - Interesting that it doesn't mention WP spending. So I guess that is the clarification needed - do you need to spend WP to abort to dodge?

As per the werewolf combat rules, you do not need to spend willpower to avert to a defensive action. You don't even need to roll willpower to overt to a defensive action.

Raising backgrounds via exp...

Putting this on the docket for staff to make an official post regarding. However, for now assume the following:

Most backgrounds will require story for their justifcation to be raised, and exp spent as per a primary ability.

Merits/flaws being bought up or off require story and exp at 3 times the level of the merit/flaw.

Rituals are learned IN character, not purchasable with exp.
