Layla woke to many faces, she was able to pick Vasilli, Guy, and Squirells out in the cluster. Someone had obviously bashed her head in hard cause her head was pounding. It only took seconds to remember what had happened, she had let her anger win. Fuck. Guy was on the right telling her to shift up to heal, she had no interest in that. The Grand Elder was in front of her, kind but forceful- much nicer than she deserved.
She was allowed to go home, the caren and her home. That was her limits. Which was fine, she had no desire to go anywhere else right now. Standing up Layla moved sluggishly through the caern and back to her home. Once inside she half walked, half crawled to her room and slammed the door shut.
Taking a look in the mirror as she slumped against the bed she saw that her face was turning a beautiful shade of purple on one side and a fist could almost be made out in it. She was covered in grime and blood, some from the bodies she helped care for, but most was Grudge Fuckers. None of it was her's.
Fuck. Layla leaned against the bed and listened to the world outside. Not moving or sleeping. She just sat and thought about her anger and how she had let it control her. An internal struggle and she would not move unless she had to until Llue came home.
