Lightbringer finishes the various rituals and settles down to wait. Moments later the spirit of a leathery old man appears. He is wearing deer hide worked with beads with feathers in his hair. His face was something of a railway map of worry lines and scars. He looked... frail, but appearances were deceiving; this man had once been one of the greatest Ahroun ever to grace the Uktena.
"Honored Ancestor, I have prepared a feast for you and offer gifts that you might do a task for me."
The spirit regarded the food before it and the gnosis enriched tobacco before turning his gaze back to Lightbringer.
"King Albrecht of the Silver Fangs needs to hear my words. Please carry them to him."
The spirit gets a glint in its eye before nodding slowly.
"'King Albrecht, Ahroun, Silver Fang, leader of the Garou Nation, hear me. I am Lightbringer Feels-No-Remorse of the Silver Forge. Ali'i to my people, adren to the Uktena, Warder to the Sept with no Name, Alpha of the Loadbearers and first among Hummingbird's children. Across this great nation I have walked and heard the whisper of your laws on ever tongue. I ask the people to give to me these laws and I hear dissent on their words. I hear ambiguity. I hear bickering.
If one is to be held to a law and punished by its justice, that law must be clear. As you are greatest among the Garou, you stand over all and your law above that. Yet, ambiguity serves the People not at all. It does no honor to those of lesser station. This violates our Litany, the laws bestowed upon us by the highest source.
Therefore, I challenge you, King Albrecht Ahroun of the Silver Fangs. You have done a disservice to your people. I challenge you to write for me these laws and give them to my hands. Do this, and we will be done, or I will face you with tooth and claw or klaive to answer for these slights as is our custom.
With respect;
Lightbringer.'"
He pauses a moment and watches the spirit. The spirit just smirks before plucking up the tobacco and turning to go.
