COMPULSION – Regardless of the rationality, one is gripped with an irresistible impulse to do something. The motivator could also be external coercion.
Someone or something is hunting the homeless of the domain. I know this now. Do I care? I dislike or am ambivalent about most of the kindred of the domain except for the family.
THE ANTAGONIST – This card may represent the Antagonist literally or other external forces aligned against the good of the Protagonist.
One day the homeless are there, the next they are gone. One of them, one of them with eyes to see, says it’s a vampire that hunts them. It could be someone in the domain which means they are sloppy and breaking the masquerade. It could be an enemy of the domain.
RESTRAINT – Even if offered something desired, it may be asking too much or seem ostentatious to accept it. Finding the strength to hold back is called for.
Do I care? I must. I’m still thinking about this. I can’t leave the city. I need to protect the herd. If it is one of the domain, I could figure it out and deal with it. If it is an enemy, I will still have to deal with it. The humans are vital to the city.
WEALTH – A gain or increase in material wealth. Could manifest as a comfortable house, a well-paying job, or just cold hard cash.
Protect the humans. Protect the herd. Protect the masquerade. Protect the city. A lifetime of being a protector. Do I care? I still don’t know. But a girl has to eat… and a girl has to deal with enemies one way or another. Catch a sloppy feeder, gain the upper hand. Catch an intruder and gain something more.
THE BLACK SHEEP – This person has always been held in suspicion or actively shunned by others for having a legendarily bad reputation.

My tip to you for surviving Seattle is to do as little as possible.

Now that you’ve decided to live, you need to figure out what you will sacrifice all this for.

I think we should cut them open to see what falls out.
Physically or mentally?
Both.
