Calm before the storm

Spirits have begun to chitter as if the weather is about to turn. "....cant you feel it? The air is dry, stagnant. The rivers no longer move...." ".... you think its the end? I heard the burrowing spirits have begun to hide beneath the earth...
"

Voices nods, speaking back to the spirits when others aren't around. "Yes," he tells them. "There's a change coming. Hopefully, it will be a shift, and not a destruction. ... What's that? Oh, yes. Yes, I suspect that's true." He nods in agreement with the voice, even as the words he agreed with vanish from his mind, as if he'd never heard it at all.

Another whispers behind his ear, and he shrugs. "Perhaps. But if it is the end, I promise you, the Garou will go first, doing everything in our power to stop it." It whispers again. "The Garou will come together in the end. We won't put our rivalries ahead of Gaia. Not at the end." It mutters again, and he twitches at the vile, depraved things it tells him. He ignores it. It may be one of the bad spirits, one who whispers untruths, who grants false prophecy. Or perhaps it is giving a true prophecy... but if so, there is nothing he can do to change it. Either way, he will not give it the satisfaction of a reaction.

He goes about his work, preparing his next sermon to his cult. When he has seen to his human children, his litter, there's much to do, spirits to talk to, talens to prepare. The flashes are coming closer and closer, and he must be ready when it arrives.

She lifts her head to sniff the air and a potunt smell wraped around her muzzel and swepted the air from her lungs, she shook her head and gasped for fresh air. The spirits a gaia were trying to speak to her but could not get through to her, all she could hear was whispers and muttering, she never heard the spirits so concerned, This wasent normal somthing was wrong. she stood on her hind leges and looked up into the sky, dark hidious clouds formed over the evening sky and a sudden shudder went down her spine, it made her uneasy. She sat back down and grabed her leather side pouch, she tried to clear her mind and listen to the spirits again.

"What is going on?", she felt a shift in the earth and felt the tension in the forest. She listend again but the voices were gone. somthing was most uterly wrong. That evening she was picking camoile flowers and rassberrie leaves for her tea, she would drink this tea for strenght and calmness. She put the rest of the flowers she had found in her pouch, she then wrapped her pouch around her waste and sniffed the air once again. In confusion she prayed to gaia for help. She then leaped to all fours and ran through the forest, in the back of her mind she was woundering what the hell could be happing and if anyone eles was feeling this to.
