Butch after Diataro's speech is seen to walk off and talks with the Sulis pack. They exchange few words Butch looks at them wearingly and a tired look on his face. "I need to stick around for the young ones.." He mentions as he stands there.
"Your going to have to come off the fence sometime...." White Raven says with a smirk, "I will just not now, with the Margrave coming... I must see that the wyrmfoe is prepared..." She nods and he smirks a bit as much as he can at the time. He turns soon after starts chanting the rite of Summons and a fenris wolf which looks at him plainly at him. Many did not know that the Bone Gnawer faced the spirit in challenge and face down earlier... He didn't care if he was looking for recognition they would have known about it. The spirits know and that is all he cares for...
"Mighty Fenris, I must mitigate our agreement due to new information present..." He tilts his head, "Here is my Chriminage..." He man slits his wrist and gives the wolf a gnosis meal fit for kings, 8 gnosis is drained from the Bone Gnawer... With Urgency and challenge he says, "See that the Wyrmfoe is well prepared and give him all the help you can get.. In one week, see that he is ready to stand with the Margrave." The spirit looks at him straight in the eyes a challenging look given, "I will make sure he is prepared..." Butch looks back at the Fenris spirit a tone in challenge, "Are you sure?" The wolf snorts it's obvious they don't like each other but something passes between them.... "Yes, he will be prepared." Butch nods, "Good, thank you."
He walks away and stands where everyone was in the circle. He just stands there alone now since people have left. No recognition, ever for any of his actions, nothing to the ones of his friends or ex-friends now. He heard nothing positive about him more just poor Butch this, Poor Butch that. He Growls under his breath, touches his eye which is bruised and swollen still. He meditates standing there a long time he doesn't move. People feel his rage flare as he sits there, what little rage the Bone Gnawer has.
He calms down after several hours knowing that the Sulis pack already reached the Glade. He stands finally as he seems to be feeling better now he has gnosis..."I'm still here for what it's worth.." He says looking around he scratches the back of his neck wondering if he should have left, "No, I made the right choice for now... That I am sure..." He remains wondering if anyone talks with him before he leaves for the glade...
