Brenna looks over her shoulder at her cousin Aurora asleep on the bed, then turned her laptop some more trying to keep from waking her. Aurora had been good in keeping up with her and making sure that she didn’t try to walk for hours at a time with out thinking or forgot to eat as Brenna worried and fretted silently about the dead and the living.
Brenna fidgets with the box in her lap trying torn between putting the few things that Wolf had given her away and putting them somewhere she could see them. She pulls out the strip of pictures that they had taken at a photo booth the last time they had gone out to dinner. She quickly tucks them away again wishing that she had a picture of the three brothers. She swipes at her eyes angrily wiping away the tears. Maybe it was better that she didn’t and looks at the to do list on her computer. Find out what had happened to the baby and then she would need to talk to one of her uncles. Then to Santa Fe if she could convince them. There was one more person that needed to be told about their deaths.
