So proboards is working dilligently on version 5 of their boards, which will have a ton of new options, but I thought I'd post an excerpt from their blog about some of the stuff coming down the pipe. I know there was a question from a couple of users about having more colors available for fonts, so this should be exciting to them, because it refers to a change that happened in the background without notice. You can now use hexidecimal color codes to create as many different text colors as you want, like this:
Eventually in version 5 you'll be able to do it a little less manually, and just pick the shade you want directly in the post editor, have different kinds of bulleted lists and a few other HTML tricks that will translate into message board script which is what they talk about in the link below. If you are a nerd that cares about that sort of thing like me, enjoy!

There are a lot of features coming to version 5 that I am excited about. Some of the things I have been hearing are stuff like video support for other sites besides youtube, the ability to connect items to social networking sites, and a ton of other additions which they won't confirm yet, but seem pretty cool.
I would look for this to finally hit sometime fall this year, they seem to be taking their time with this one.
... your text here ...
The key is that tag (color=#0000ff) cuz the 0000ff corresponds to one of thousands of colors that you can use to delineate different colors on the internets. (it happens to be Blue). If you look at the link I posted above to the hexidecimal codes, you'll see what I'm talking about. So instead of just picking 'blue' or 'teal' from the drop-down list, you can manually add any one of hundreds of different shades by looking at that list and picking the code for the color you want. Pretty sweet.Eventually in version 5 you'll be able to do it a little less manually, and just pick the shade you want directly in the post editor, have different kinds of bulleted lists and a few other HTML tricks that will translate into message board script which is what they talk about in the link below.
