Dinner with the parents

[Sarah]

The car pulled up to the house Brenna had grown up in and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She hoped that William wouldn't be here tonight things were going to be difficult enough with her introducing Visili to her parents in the first place with out William there too. She sat staring at the house for a long moment.

[BadAdam]

"Nice house."

Visili, sitting in the passenger seat, looked over at Brenna, reading her expressions.

"Something wrong, you seem really nervouse?"

[Sarah]

She nods, "The only person that I have ever brought home to meet my parents is Ravenna and it's a huge difference between bringing my boyfriend home and bringing my best friend over. Hope that William isn't home."

[BadAdam]

Visili puts his hand on Brenna's shoulder.

I'm sure everything will be fine. If I have the acceptance of Oli, Whistler, and William, im sure your parents will come around too.

With that, Visili steps out of the car, walks around, and opens up the driver's side door for Brenna. As they approach the door...

I wonder whats on the menu tonight?

[Sarah]

Brenna laughs and taps on the door before opening it, "Something good and not pizza. It might be chinese food or something else they ordered in. My parents work a lot."

[Sarah]

A tall man about 6' 2" with blond hair greying comes through the hall way towards them with a warm smile.

"Honeybun it's goods to see you and to meet Mr Visili," His voice has a questioning note in it as he offers a hand to Visili.

[BadAdam]

Visili, portraying his characteristic "lack of emotion", steps forward and nods.

Good too meet you finally.

As he shakes the man's hand, Visili shakes firmly while torqing his hand slightly to the left to show a small measure of dominance.

You have a wonderful house here.

[Sarah]

He smiles pleasantly, "Thank you."

Brenna frowns, "Dad your being rude. Visili this is my father Doctor Micheal Brand, Dad this is my boyfriend Visili. I like him a lot so be nice. Where's mom?"

Micheal frowns a little,"She's in the kitchen honey bun."

[BadAdam]

Ah, you are a doctor. What is your specialty?

Visili attempts to make conversation as he begins to make his way to the kitchen with brenna.

[Sarah]

"Trauma, I work at the Virginia Mason emergency room." He puts his hands in his pockets as they walk.

In the kitchen is a pretty older woman with graying black hair and dark blue eyes. She smiles warmly at them as they come in.

"You must be Visili. It's wonderful to meet you finally my girls have talked so much about you. I'm Caroline please come in and make yourself at home."

Brenna can't help but smile and hug her mom. "Hi mom"

Visili takes a seat at the kitchen table as he replies to Doctor Brand.

Ah, trauma, deffinatly a good place to make a difference.

Visili turns toward brenna's mother.

Its good to finally meet you as well.

A smirk begins to crawl across Visili's face.
