Amalric stood at entrance to Valhalla, looking down at huge field of covered in bodies from a massive battle. The bodies slowly got back up one by one laughing, pulling all manner of bladed weapons out of themselves and walking over to huge barrels of mead to drink themselves in to a stupor and fight yet again.
On the hill side above sits two scarred warriors, making comments about the last battle , reminding him of Statler and Waldorf. He walks over to the two old warriors sitting on the hill side in the shade of Yggdrasil.
Pointing to a spot next to them "Is this seat taken?"
The one he decided was Statler sizes Amalric up "have a seat, thirsty?" as he points to a smaller barrel of mead between them.
Amalric fills a mug up and sits down.
The one he deemed Waldorf looks at him "I am a good judge of people and"
As Statler interrupts"like the time you were sure you could convince the valkyrie to bed you and you ended up with a sword in your gut."
Waldorf glares at Statler and they both start laughing He looks back at Amalric "you have a look of purpose to you"
He finished his mug and begins filling it again " I am waiting for my wifes spirit to meet me here."
Amalric grins "she died fighting a very powerful femori and her spirit was allowed to reside in her own klaive to help protect her family."
Statler lifts an eyebrow "that is quite a woman. "
Waldorf grins "you may have to wait a long time for her to arrive."
Amalric shrugs"Ilsa is worth the wait"
Waldorf grin widens "good, I want to meet this Ilsa and steal her from you."
Amalric laughs" then you will have repeat of the Valkryie experience."
In the center of the field the battle begins anew as the the three old warriors drink, tell each other stories and yelled "helpful" hint to the battling warriors below
