A drink for two with one

[Brewer]

Abraxas slumps into the pub and sits at the bar. He orders a bottle of whisky and two glasses, "...ten years sober...." he sets a photo of his little sister against one of the empty glasses and pours a couple shots in each. Abraxas raises his glass, ".....here's to you kiddo...." abraxas slams the drink back with no hesitation and begins to pour more.

Guy places another tumbler on the bar and pours a whiskey, "This Sept will never find another quite like her, and that's a beautiful tragedy we will all have to face." He tips back his drink and puts the glass down, "I can't even begin to imagine what it is like for you and your pack."

Guy pours another whiskey and holds it up, "There isn't enough whiskey to drink that will fill the void that is her death."

[Wilhelm Opens-the-Way]

Wilhelm entered the bar in shirtsleeves. His coat was gone. Left somewhere. His shirt was open, buttons missing. His face was splotchy from the heat of his face and the cold, winter rain outside. He headed straight for the piano.



By the time the song was finished, tears silently fell from his face onto the keys.

Guy walks over to the piano and places a bottle of whiskey on the top, he rests his hand on Wilhelm's shoulder for a moment, squeezing gently.

When he gets back behind the bar he pours another drink and stares at it.

Abraxas listens to guys words. He takes another drink as his brother finishes his song, " ....now is our time to mourn, no happy songs, no tales of glory just yet. Im not going to fill the void with foul drink and self loathing. I plan to fill it with the decimated remains of that freakish hell hole." Abraxas grabs the bottle in front of him and the picture of his sister. He chugs the last of it and walks to the door, fueled by more than just rage. He stops at the door facing it, ".....I am the eldest of my family and this goes beyond our traditions, have your moot. The deep skies pack prepares for war. My sister is gone from this world too soon and someone will pay for it." Abraxas pulls a small knife and pins the photo to the door.

Watching Abraxus, Guy nods at his words, "Family will reach beyond our many boundaries and inspire us to do great things. I just hope you've all been inspired to survive. I will keep a table open for the Deep Skies Pack and an eye on the shrine to Volcano. The Tear will always be ready to serve." raising his glass Guy salutes Abraxus.

Wilhelm quietly hid his tears and stood from the piano, walking to the picture embedded by knifepoint in the wall. He passed a hand over Thalia's picture and bowed his head. After a moment, he turned to Abraxas. He was not filled with sorrow just then, only a cold light shone behind his eyes.

"Brother, I know why you feel this way. I'm going to kill every member of that hive if I have to do it myself. I will do it until I am swimming in their blood or my own. There will be no army and no force of evil that will stop us in our revenge. But I won't do so at the expense of Thalia's story. The moot is a tradition that gives Garou both comfort and purpose. Our brothers and sisters in the Sept will raise the war cry with us, and we will remember that we do not stand alone. No Garou does. The name of Thalia Deedcatcher will ring in the ears of every pitch-black Spiral we slay. If they wonder why we are so strong, they will hear her name. If they wonder why we will not die, will not surrender, will not stop hunting them to the ends of the earth, they will hear her name. They will hear it in the ringing of our blades, the thunder of our fists, the shredding of their flesh beneath our claws. It will be the last thing they hear. And when they are reborn unto the cycle they will still fear the name."

Willhelm's eyes were now bright with fire.

"But give our sister her story," he said. "She would want that."

Abraxas just smirked, " you will be there to tell her tale. I trust you can inspire and move mountains with that mouth of yours. I have alot of planning to do. This fight will not happen the night of council and revel." Abraxas opens the door and and stands in the threshold," I have troops to rally. This will take more than just our sept. This will not be a repeat of my previous death." Abraxas smiles and walks out.

Wilhelm watched Abraxas One-Ton, two-deaths leave pith purpose in his heart, and hoped that it would be enough.

Wilhelm couldn't tell Talia's story, he knew. He wasn't Galliard. But he could show them how he felt about her, his sister if not in blood, than in spirit. For so long the only bridge between himself and... but there would be time for that later. Now there was work to be done. But first, he turned to Guy and sat down at the bar.

"Two glasses Guy. Same as before."

Guy kicks back his drink and slams the glass on the bar.

"Aye."

He places two glasses before Wilhelm and looks up at him with a slight smirk his eyes, "You know, the last thing I ever told Thalia was a lie. I told her that if she died that I would never tell her story," pulling out a new bottle of whiskey he placed it on the bar, "I've never looked forward to, or been more sad about, being a liar."

Walking around the bar and too the door Guy plucked the knife and grabbed the picture. "This deserves a better place."

Wilhelm's eyes flashed with a sudduen confusion and the rage boiling within him was choked back. "Why? Why would you tell her such a thing?"

Guy's sad face falls as he wanders around the room, seemingly looking for a place to hang the picture in his hand, "I say things I don't mean like that to hide the fact that I'm afraid of losing friends and family..." his voice trails off as he seems to find a satisfactory place and pins the picture up.

"Seems like you've managed to collect a few new family members along the way to make up for it." There was an edge to that odd statement and it was almost under his breath.

He held up the drink. "I will never forget you sister. You were the best of all of us." The time was past for tears. He'd had his maudlin moment. Now was about honoring her and taking to the tasks that lay before him and the Deep Skies pack.
