Llue opens the door to the back, "We can have better introductions back here,"

[Zafreena - So Lost and Lonely]

Zafreena pauses in her drawing to peer up at the man. She takes less than a second to look him over. With a timid smile and a respectful nod she gathers up her pen and notepad, and steps quickly through the door.

Llue shuts the door. "Well, I said better introductions once back here, so I'll start." Llue draws himself up to his full hight of 6'2 and clears his throat. "I am Llue Gryffes-Carpenter, Beats-the-Drum-Slowly, Fiann, Adren Theurge, homid. Alpha of the Unstoppable Force, packed under Earthquake," at that he stomps his foot twice. "Wielder of the Three-fold axe, Foe-Reaver, and member of the sept of the Forgotten Winter," a sudden lopsided grin creases his face, "And I make one hell of a brew. Welcome to the Back room of the Mother's Tear's pub." He extends his hand.

She stands stalk still as he introduces himself. When he finishes a small smile forms on her lips and she lets out a muted laugh from behind her hand. "That is quite a mouth full." The phrase is stated in a joking manner with no obvious intent to offend. With a slight bow she introduces herself. "I am Zafreena, a Philidox Homid, Child of Gaia, and current beta to the Unforgiven pack." A more confident smile sits on her lips and she reaches forth to firmly shake Llue's hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you Llue."

"Nice to meet you. Zafreena is a bit of a mouthful by it's self. Any easier nickname? If not, we can give ya one. Anyway, basic rules here, this is Guy's place, for the most part, keep the peace and leave the drama with your momma." He pulls up a barstool, and sits down. On the bar is a messenger bag, from which he pulls out a bottle of home brew, and hands it to her. "Some of my good stuff. Not Awakened, just well crafted."

Zafreena gave him a crooked smile and chuckled. "Zaffy, Zan, Enna, or Free. Take your pick." She pulled up a stool and sat next to him. With a quick movement the bottle is snatched from his hand. Her curious gaze sweeps quickly over the bottle and its contents. The bottle is raised up and she peers through it watching with intense joy as light bends and refracts off the golden liquid. Her childish inspection complete she takes a small glass and fills it, then, after placing the bottle down on a counter, she proceeds to take a tasting sip from the glass.

(Not sure how it should taste. I don't drink beer in rl.)

"Like I said I make it myself. So, I only have the briefest of interaction with one member of your pack. And hate to form opinions based on that. So why are you guys here?" He pours a a glass for himself and sets the bottle on the bar.

"Honestly?" This question was something she had recently been thinking about more. Eddie's intent was pretty clear, serve Gaia and kill the wyrm. Also kill anyone that would get in the way of that simple goal. But her Alpha was more headstrong than she was willing to deal with. She felt more like a pet rather than the packs beta.

With an annoyed shake of the head she finished her response. "The Unforgiven are here to serve Gaia and to kill the wyrm. If anyone wishes to challenge their goal then they are putting themselves on the judging stand before Gaia." There was more emphasis on 'their' goal allowing Llue to hear her detachment from the group.

Her eyes were focused on the glass that sat heavily in her small trembling hands. "You didn't pick a name by the way. Did none of the ones I proposed sound good to you?" Her tone was calm as she spoke, yet it held a hint of sadness and fear around the edges too.

the back door opens and Josh steps , when it closes he takes off his sunglasses, jacket and gloves revealing the his obvious cyberware .

" Hello Llue, how are things?"

"Josh," Llue nods.

"It's not that I didn't like any of those, just don't know you well enough yet to say." He takes another sip of the mead. "As for your pack's goal, well it sounds like a just and noble cause. And from what I've seen, your alpha sure could use a bata that can give just as good as she gets, know what I'm saying?" he says looking at her over his glass. "His mouth might be offering chimanage his pack can't back up."

Josh walks up to the bar and gets a pintm. He then sits at a table near lue his other sept mate

The sound of someone laughing precedes him as Guy walks into the back room being pursued by an attractive Irish girl swatting him with a rag. She seems to be yelling something highly offensive about Guy's lateness, his stature as a man, and how much she pays him all while he's laughing at her. Finally she boots him in the ass and slams the door to the rest of the bar behind her.

Guy looks around and smiles at his customers, "Greeting's I'm glad ye all made yer'selves comfortable," he says as he walks around the end of the bar and tags out with the kinfolk bartender, "Head up front Billy, Maeve needs someone who isn't going to remove her customer's teeth when they talk back."

The bartender laughs at Guy's comment and heads to the front room.

"So what brings ye great lot to me bar?" He asks with a smile on his face.

[Layla O'Riely 'Sparkles']

Layla walks in through the front entrance and pauses for a moment, listening to the voices in the back. One was her Alpha she knew that much. Walking through she opened the door to the back and glanced at the group sitting around. "It's like a party in here!" Smiling she walked up to the table Llue was at and touched a seat. "Alpha may I join?"

Josh finishes his beer, the green glow of his left eye makes the glass light up as he finishes the last of it.

"relaxing while waiting for the other shoe to drop."

Looking back at Josh, Guy raises an eyebrow at the Glasswalker, "So which shoe are you talking about and why are you waiting for it?" he asks as pulls another pint of beer and sets it down in front of Josh.

Picking up the empty glass he sets it aside with the rest of the dirty glasses, "And why are you here if you can't solve the problem with drink?" he asks jokingly.

He pushes a chair out with his foot, "Don't see why not. Layla, meet Zafreena. Zafreena, Layla, my packmate."
He's gaze turns back to Zafreena, eyes searching

Her eyes flicked up to see who else had entered the room. "Hello Josh." she said with another one of her picturesque smiles.

Zafreena paused a moment and considered Llue's response carefully. "Not knowing someone for very long I guess is a fair enough reason not to give them a nickname." She let out a loud and infectious laugh. "I obviously am having trouble giving him what I get." She took another drink of mead and returned his stare from behind her own glass.

At this point Guy walks in followed by laughter from the other room, and an ornery little Irish girl who swats at him with a rag. This small display of annoyance makes Zafreena giggle a little. She quickly composes herself before answering Guy. "I am here to make friends and have some good conversations." She smiles sweetly up at him and takes another sip from her glass.

Another person steps in from the other room. She makes a comment about it being a party in the back room and Zafreena giggles again. It was nice to have another girl present. "I was beginning to think I was going to be the only girl here." The humor was clearly sarcastic seeing as there were plenty of other women up front. "All we need is some good music and it will be a party."

Llue introduced the other girl as Layla and watched Zafreena for her response. Of course she proceeds to bow again placing her glass down on the bar beforehand. "A pleasure to meet you Layla." She says offering her a hand to shake. Her expression and demeanor are once again more business-like than casual.

He smiles back at Zafreena and winks, "I'm glad ye picked the Mother's Tear then. I like to see all of us relax now and then. It's important to rest when you have a chance. You never know when the next attack will be."

"everything is mostly working in our favor right now and at some point this could change, could I get another beer, I hope will will be able to roll with the punches."

He get up to head back to the bar

"so how do you like our sept so far Zafreena?"

Offering her hand Layla reaches over and shakes the other girls, taking it in a firm hold. "Welcome to the sept, I'm Layla, I hope your Alpha can keep his foot on the ground and not lodged inside his mouth all the time. It would make your job rather difficult I assume." Offering a smile assuring her it was not in any way a threat, more of an observation. "Now then how about some music so I don't feel like I'm at a funeral, Guy!" Layla stood only to flip the chair around and sit again straddling it with her arms resting on its back. "Oh Llue brought the good stuff! It really could be a party then!"
