A moment of observation

Walking slowly into the back room Layla's eyes were red and the bottle she was clutching was empty. Walking to the bar she sat on a stool and put her head down. Taking just a moment to herself. "Give me something, the bottle... with a glass." she asked looking back up. She picked her bottle up and slammed it back down. "SHIT!" She swore audibly. She turned and looked at the door hoping someone would soon join her.

James flynn hears the noise from the back room and steps in, " no matter what your role, garou, human soldier, im sure even creatures of the wyrm eventually attempt to find solitude in a bar." He sets the bottle of jack he was saving down on the table along with a shot glass that said " sorrows don't belong here".

Layla looked up and smiled, "You know, I didn't know him that well. Shit, he only came back about a month ago." She filled the glass. "Just wish I had gotten to know him the way Llue had. He was my packmate." She lifted the glass. "In any case bottoms up." she took the shot and slammed the glass back down. Thinking back to her house she hadn't spent much time there this week. Llue had become obsessed with working, and the house just felt emptier than ever, knowing that now two of the Unstoppable Force had indeed been stopped. Permanently. She put her head on her hand and smiled. "At least nobody can say he didn't die well."
