Is there a budget from NOTR for the Hanted House?

Cuz if there is, to spread out costs for some items we may wish to begin purchasing a few things now.

So, the way this works: we have not had members vote on a haunted house buget, and we don't have time to schedule and hold an emergency meeting to vote on this.

I feel like the haunted house falls under our initiative to pay rent, since the house itself is part of the lease/rent deal, and we ARE authorized to pay rent.

I don't want to peeve our money donating ppl by making unilateral decisions, but I also think it would be fair to have a small, reasonable budget for the haunted house.

That being said, if anyone objects, please post or email us with WHY you object. Jeffery, i pre-emptively make a smartass reply to your inevitable smartass objection .

I will also entertain what folks think a reasonable budget from the rent fund can go to the haunted house before making a final decision.

Act fast, this is only gonna be a couple weeks at most before a decision has to be had.

(also, chris, i'm not sure what you mean about spreading costs out? we would be taking money out of the notr bank account, so i'm not sure it matters when we do the buying?)

I mean if there is no $ coming from NOTR, those of us (read ME) that buy hundreds of dollars of awesome halloween crap every year for these things should start designing a budget so we (read ME) can still afford to pay our (read MY) bills.

A financial report will be going up shortly - basically, our ability to provide a budget for the Haunted House is very closely linked to our raffle ticket sales. More raffle money raised = more money we have available to spend on Haunted House supplies. Given our tax class we can't give money to people, but we can take inventory of what's needed and go shopping or reimburse officers.
