Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions! For the next step in the process we will be submitting a list to the BGC for their final decision. Once we have a theme we will announce it and start recruiting for a producer, directors, set constructors, costume designers and actors.
Remember, this year we are making the Haunted House fund a centralized fund, and will be giving directors money from the fund to create their scenes. Goods purchased with general fund money will be kept in trust by NOTR for use in future Haunted Houses. If a director really wants to keep a prop after the haunted house, they are welcome to make the purchase themselves, or buy it back from NOTR if it was paid for with community funds, but we would like to encourage both the donation to and use of the general fund to help increase the similarity of production value across the board and take some stress off of the individual directors having to fend for themselves.
The breakdown: donate this summer & don't be afraid to direct for fear of personal financial burdens.
