Total NOTR funds at the end of June were at 1644.
Amount remaining at end of June: 986 minimum, 1336 desired.
Money raised in JULY
Werewolf Sphere $86 and assorted coins (compared to $300 in June)
Vampire Sphere $270 and assorted coins (compared to $540 in June)
This is a pretty significant fall off from last month and doesn't actually meet our overall monthly goal for the EC Community
If we had a month like this in the winter, we'd be out on our butts in the snow! I know its hard, especially when the weather is so nice, but think of the ant and the grasshopper and decide where you want to be when the cold weather comes back.
In the next 2 months we need to raise $630 minimum $980 desired, so i'm still shooting for 400+ a month for these next 2 months.
What this money pays for?
Well for starters, the Haunted House budget is now collective, so people can direct without having to pay out of pocket (volunteer!).
It also pays for our indoor, heated, lighted and bathroomed winter quarters, which we hope to meve back into in October (hence the 2 month deadline).
Additionally, raising this money now helps us keep notr and access to the BGC on a voluntary donation basis. Should our voluntary donations ever drop too low, we would have to make the hard choice of instituting mandatory payments or loosing our indoor space, which is not a thing we want to happen.
So please donate what you can, and also remember the silent auction we will be holding later this summer, we're currently accepting donations of gently used or new shwag that you feel your fellow gamer geeks might be willing to donate to notr to win.
