Updates:
Tiberius Harkness was woken up from his staked time-out by Prince Ileana this last week. I do recall Cecilia claiming that she wasn't willing to speak for him at the Accounting, so which primogen he's going to convince to speak for him may be an interesting question going forward.
New news:
The big news of the evening was of course the death of Shannon. She collapsed on the floor of the Nine Circles. Many of you may not have been aware, but Shannon was a Caitiff from a line of Caitiff that had access to the discipline of Serpentis. Apparently her sire had used the power of Serpentis to remove Shannon's heart in a bid to control her, but it had been returned to Shannon since then. Unfortunately the place she chose as a hiding spot was apparently not as secure as she would have liked, and somebody got to it. As this is a clear violation of the Sixth Tradition, I'm sure our Sheriff will be looking into it. Shannon did not have any boons owed on my ledger, so there won't be any matter of me shifting boons to her killer. I do know that quite a few kindred in the domain had strong feelings for Shannon, however, so if anybody has information about who would have done such a thing I suspect they could find a willing buyer.
I'm sure many of you have read the Open Letter (vampst.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=dailystab&action=display&thread=14342) I wrote this week. I do apologize for the length, it kind of got away from me a bit, but if you could spend a moment and give me your thoughts on it I would appreciate it.
Also this week I will be starting a second run at a status questionnaire - there have been a lot of returning and new faces since the first questionnaire, and I want to make sure that everybody had a chance to have their status verified by the domain. For the most part it will be the primogen's opinions that I am looking for, but a broad majority of the city will certainly influence my opinion on close matters, so if non-primogen would like to fill one out as well I am certainly not going to complain. You can find a copy at docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDNUeXJacHlIR21oczlrLVBmRnpadFE6MQ. My intention is to do one of these every three months or so, depending on how many new respected kindred we have at those times. I will likely be re-including kindred that have gone through the process every other time or so, unless the primogen have a different opinion about what would be best.
Population updates:
Regina Von Mosel, a Malkavian from Munich, has arrived. Many of the people who have been here a while would've recognized her as the previous ghoul of Tate, but she is instead the childe of Sigrid Von Mosel, a remarkably respected kindred from the Court of Munich. She has been released fairly recently, and so is just Acknowledged.
Johnny Boy, a Brujah from Los Angeles, has arrived. He is just Acknowledged.
Synapse, a Nosferatu from Berlin, has arrived. He is just Acknowledged.
MC Up-roc, a Toreador who has been in Seattle before, has returned. He is known as Worldly, Exuberant, Penitent, and Tenacious. I am still looking into my records as to how much of that status he earned here in Seattle before he left.
A gangrel whose name I did not manage to catch was found and is currently under the Accounting of Scott Chambers.
Status updates:
With the disappearance of Mr. Switch, I have been informed that Skittering Sneak is now their primogen, with a whip of Swarm.
Boons logged:
Philip Barstow owed a Trivial to Dr. Longfellow. This is now a Minor.
Chavalier's Trivial boon to Dr. Longfellow was cashed out.
Dr. Longfellow now has a Minor boon from Swarm for information.
