Build the Haunted House

This thread is for construction needs and projects. Distinct from the casting call for talent, this is for people to discuss and hook up re the building of sets and props for the HH.

we need -

ppl with skilz, if you know how to do stuff or create effects or find things, we need you.

ppl with time - if you are willing to show up to a building party and get your hands dirty we need you.

ppl with vehicles - if you are willing to carpool the above ppl, and/or materials, sets and props we need you

Directors: please post your specific needs here

Cpt. Visqueen here with the start of requests, more will follow as I remember them.

Duct tape (black)
Masking Tape (1" should do it)
Gaffers tape (not familiar with these, your best discretion)
Fishing Line (20 lb test should be fine)
Zip ties, bunches (assorted, but black is best)
Black visqueen (should be plenty there, but a new roll always helps)
Clear visqueen (if we are making windows)
Something to make false doors on the visqueen (not sure yet)
A life (I seem to be sorely missing one of these)
Those cheap disposable zip knives (damned if I can remember what they're called (for tear-down))
HELP (a few people can get amazing things done, but not without harming themselves)

I'll be picking up a good chunk of these supplies, but we historically burn through them quickly.

Mayhaps this has already been posted somewhere else and I missed it. What is the earliest date/time we can start hanging the plastic stuff? Schedule? We can probably get the walls up and ninja-walls/holes/doors together the week of, but not without people getting grumpy.

I really hope that somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

My understanding for Wed, people are shooting over to the Prop Shop, and should be at the B&GC at six?

Check out the board for the prop shop run for more info.

Once we have the props properly stored, the preliminary layout will be discussed, but nothing started to be built till Thursday 6pm.

Am I wrong yet?

I was under the impression that Wednesday we were meeting at the Prop Shop (I will be a little later, as I have work) and we have to go in the courtyard doors of the B&GC if we were dropping stuff off before 11.
