Police have responded to reports of disturbances throughout the West Seattle area this week. At first each case would appear to be unrelated until further questioning by officers lead to three common links. The disturbances have involved individuals yelling or arguing with themselves, continuous false calls to 911 over break ins/assaults and a number of other social disturbances. The links that are leaving some experts concerned however is that it would appear the victims are all Caucasian males and females. As well as all victims having reported voices or "see things." The victims have all stated that these occurrences started after a late night walk through West Seattle Rotary Viewpoint Park but more specifically after a visit to one of its well known attractions, its Totem Pole. Police have made two arrests so far the first being Jonathan Pearson, a Seattle construction worker, who was arrested after an attempt to "cut down the talking Totem Pole so that the whispers would stop at night." Markus Pintus was also arrested for violent crimes after a series of attacks on Caucasian males he claimed the totem pole demanded he commit.
The Police Department has commented that these cases are unrelated and there is no threat to public safety. The response from the public has been more vocal however with groups calling for the park to be closed or local utility companies to investigate wither a gas leak might have affected the victims.
