V:tM Bloodlines pc game is terrifying

So yea... I'm not sure how many at game are also pc gamers, but there is an old pc game for Vampire that has the scariest level ever.

Haunted hotel and creepy and nope. I'm playing it anyways and Tate is watching because apparently terrified wives are hilarious.

The hotel scares the shit out of you the first time.

After that it's an unskippable linear sequence of choreographed events. You will come to hate it more and more with every playthrough. So enjoy the fear while you can.

Also fuck everything about the sewer level. You'll know why when you get there.

Very much worth $20 for the two playthroughs you get. One as whatever your choice of clans is, and a second as a malkavian. I still crack up thinking about the stop sign.

I miss that game so much. I particularly liked playing in the hotel area when I was playing a character with Auspex. There's a point where you can "see" the ghost of the murderer holding an axe through a wall with Auspex, but when you go around it he's not there. Totally freaked me out the first time.

Actually, you can see that dude through the gaps in the pipes, I saw him for the first time on this playthrough, hence the me freaking out even more.

For anyone buying it who is running a more modern pc, you will probably need to download the unofficial patch or it won't work. I can email you the link of where I got mine if you need me to.

Also find the "Unofficial Patch" after you apply the official 1.2 patch. Links and updates can be found here:

The unofficial patch fixes a SLEW of things the official one does not, as well it adds back in a lot of cut content, as well as additional items and some side quests. The guy who makes it has been adding/fixing/revising it consistently since the game came out.
