The lab was dark as he put pen to paper. It was late at night, but that didn't matter. Dorothy didn't sleep, so he had a steady supply of Monster.
"There . . . finished. Mom and Dad probably won't like it, but it is necessary."
He picked up his phone, calling the concierge for his bank.
"Yes, this is Roger O'Connor. I have something for my safety deposit box. It is imperative that it this item is placed in the box tonight. Yes, thank you, my man and I will meet you at the branch in twenty minutes."

Twenty minutes later, he was at the local branch for his Swiss bank, meeting with his concierge.
"Yes, thank you. Two keys will suffice."
As he returned to his car, he pulled out his phone, texting Leslie: "I know you're upset. I might have a solution, but you're not going to like it."
