An un-expected malfunction Friday night brought drilling on the new Seattle viaduct tunnel to a grinding halt. Work crews and engineers are scrambling to figure out what went wrong so they can get the project back underway. Bertha seems to have a mind of her own though and is leaving the teams stumped.
