A series of disturbances led to a call to animal control this last week ending in tragedy. Eyewitness reports claim that a German Shepherd, when cornered by Animal Control, turned and attacked the man tearing at his throat, leading to his death on the way to the hospital. There have been multiple sightings and attacks reported, though nothing as serious and tragic as this. Citizens are warned that if they see this animal to not approach, back away slowly, and report it as soon as they are able. Animal Control believes this animal may be rabid and if you are bitten to seek immediate medical assistance no matter how small the bite may be.
