A Channel 10 Special Report
A series of disappearances across the region... are you and your loved ones really safe? More at 11.

Earlier this year University of Washington students Melissa Ryan and Tim Scoville shocked their family and friends by suddenly announcing on Facebook their intentions to travel to Thailand and leave America for good. Their parents have been trying to reach them for the past few months, making frequent calls to the American Embassy in Bangkok, the State Department, and non-profit groups, all in a futile effort to track down their children.
The real shocker came just this week, when it was discovered that Melissa and Timothy never left the country at all. Although they had purchased one way tickets, they never actually boarded the flight. While various government agencies exchange the blame, the only clear truth is that Melissa Ryan and Tim Scoville are nowhere to be found.
The University Students aren’t the only missing person’s case to shock the region, and befuddle local law enforcement. Tacoma high school student and church choir member Angela Kenney hasn't been seen in two weeks. Family members and friends describe her as a model student, with no history of drug or alcohol abuse and a future in music. The Kenney family has put up a facebook group asking for any information or sightings of Angela. The Tacoma police department could not be reached for comment. Sources inside the police department revealed that any positive resolution of the Kenney case was unlikely, citing both a large missing person’s backlog, and a lack of department resources.
-
In related news human remains have been found in Cougar Mountain Regional Wildlife Park. The body appears to have been specifically damaged to identification. Park officials are scouring the park in search of additional remains.
-
And now we return to our continuing coverage of the Bellevue apartment explosion. The question on everyone’s minds; was it meth?
