Good evening my fellow Kindred.
Let it be known that by the word of the Revered Malkavian primogen Simone, her clanmate Mr. Crane will be holding an event to drum up support for the rebuilding of Seattle. The event will be held at the Park at Bothell Landing and I have been assured that Mr. Price has granted permission to attend in his territory.
This event is not being declared Elysium for a number of reasons, but most importantly for all of your protection. There will be mortals at this public event. Mortals unbound by blood to our kind and unaware of our existence. There are still ghosts crawling the streets of Seattle and Sabbat lurking, looking for an excuse to test us.
If the event were to be declared Elysium, little could be done to protect against these enemies or to ensure the behavior of the local mortals. My hope is that Mr. Crane and his associates have developed a plan to ensure calm and security in the absence of Elysium or have contracted out the services of those who can.
Do know that if should any of you make waves at this event or act scandalously, I will have no choice but to burn your good name down to ashes. When in doubt, do not act. If you are unsure, look to your elders or hosts.
Of course, events such as this are a ripe ground for EARNING status as well as losing it. Well executed performances that do not breech the masquerade, assisting the event organizers or our City Officials in maintaining order and other such civil acts could work well in a Kindred's favor to acquiring standing in his name.
