Custom Material and You: A Guide

All custom material (Merits, Rituals, Combos, etc.) that have been created by your characters need to be submitted to the new database for that material, as per the announcements at game. 

Please send in the final draft of the material, along with the copied text from the staff approval email, to the following address:

[e-mail]

The format should be as below.


Subject: Name of the power or ability x[TYPE]     (where x[TYPE] = either xMerit, xRitual, or xCombo)

Body:

[Final draft of the material]

[Copied text from the approval email, as if forwarding it]

Prerequisites: Presence 1, Obfuscate 3, Dementation 3

A recently discovered Anarch technique, Refuge in Audacity allows for Malkavian anarchs to explain away their presence at the oddest of locations, regardless of the excuse they give or their actions while there.

System:

When confronted by another party, the Malk spins a tall tale that results in their presence at the scene. They then roll a contested Manipulation + Expression vs the Intelligence + Subterfuge of all who can perceive them and heard the explanation, diff 8.

If a listener rolls less successes than the user, they accept the Malk's story and rationalize their presence for the rest of the scene. If the listener gets more, he can tell the story sounds fishy, and may react appropriately.

Correction, the above combo discipline is not a power of the blood per se, it's just standard operating procedure for all Malks.

No no, it's definitely a Combo, it's just that Malkavians start with it for free. The above represents the prereqs for teaching it to other Clans
