Professor Argent "You know a table with only one chair sends the message that you want to be alone"
Man at table in Spanish "I'm sorry I don't know what you're saying"
PA in Spanish "Ah pardon I was just saying a man at a table with no chairs gives off the impression he wants to be alone"
M in Spanish "Finally someone who speaks Spanish...
Back and forth for a little while then
Lady in Mask "Do you find that appropriate?"
PA: "Sitting in chairs?"
LiM in hushed tones "Having a Negro sitting at a table"
PA: "At least as appropriate as what the south has done to English."
LiM: "Sir! Are you trying to insult me?"
PA: "Not at all my dear lady. you are but a victim. You see it is French and Spanish speakers of English that corrupted...
LiM: "We speak perfect English in the south..."
PA: "Not at all, but feel free to think so"
(This isn't word for word but It set the tone for the character and real quickly gave me the base of how my character acts. Thanks to everyone involved.
