These historical games are sort of a learning / teaching process as well as a cool avenue to show historical stuff and let people have a lengthy backstory within Seattle.
These games are effectively Staff trying to tutor the player base for our interpretation of canon as well as a period of time where you can learn without too much consequences to your character.
The IC things are already beginning to occur. Snub the Prince? You're his servant for 10 years. Miss a meeting? Lose your seat on the council. Refuse to pay a boon, get chased out of town for a few years till you figure out proper etiquette. Obviously we can't tell those sorts of tales in the real-time LARP as it's supremely dickish on an OOC level for the Prince to deny rights of Hospitality to a character because their player didn't understand a mechanic. But, it's totally reasonable to do so for a few game sessions.
Anyway. This also offers a unique opportunity for you as Players to learn the system and the canon as we will be enforcing it. This will be represented by a series of tutorials headed up by Staff before each game. I'm expecting these workshops to be 20-30 minutes long (longer with Q&A). They'll start at about 9:30pm through the historical games. Come early for set up and then bring me questions you might have a burning need to have answered.
Here is my rough schedule:
30th- Feeding, Status, Titles, and Traditions.
6th- Feeding, Downtime Actions, Contacts, Influence, and Domain
13th- Feeding, Business, Crafts, and Havens (w/ Domain again)
20th- Feeding, Coterie Mechanics and catch-all Q&A
Just because your question doesn't strictly fall within that weeks tutorial doesn't mean that it won't be fielded, but it means that I might ask you to wait until after announcements to get your answer.
