Johnny, or James as the people here knew him, was wrapping up work for the day. A few more systems fixed, a few more tickets closed, a few more hours of his life he'd never get back. This inane drudgery killed him inside. But it was soon to be over for the week.
Soon, no more pretending to be James the boring-ass IT guy. Instead, he could finally cut loose and have some fun. Well, his definition of fun anyway. He thought back to the mass of soldering equipment, wiring, and random components on the workshop bench and grinned; it was close to completion, and his real employers would be pleased.
