The building was old.
The windows were browned with dust and a couple of them were broken from what she could only assume were stupid adolescents.
There were places where the outer plaster of the building had cracked or chipped away.
Ashes walks in through the front door. The first time she'd been there, Antonio had gone through and disabled the security (if there had been any; he hadn't been specific) before picking the locks so they could walk in like they owned the place.
There was a punching bag or two still hanging from the ceiling; there was one that looked like it'd taken a serious beating that was collapsed on the floor a few feet away. There was an empty weight stand, with the weights strewn about the floor, and a crusty looking boxing ring in the center of the room.
Ashes smiled. Yes, this would do nicely.
She walks back outside to the "for sale" sign that she hadn't seen over the course of her first two visits and leaned against it.
Pulling the phone out of her pocket, she dials.
"Hi, Victor? You do real-estate, right? I'm wondering if you could get a building for me..."
