Recruitment:
Growing our community and bringing in new players have always been important. The game is stabilizing and the policies set forward have been shown to be effective and fair. As such it is time to put our efforts into bringing new players in as well as old players back. To do so we will create incentives for not only the recruiter but also the general community as a whole. It can be hard to make friends and sometimes the game does not lend a hand to new players. We work to change attitudes and bring us together with the shared goal of making sure current AND new players have a good time.
On the first night the Recruiter gains a Common Draw. This is given even if the new/returning player does not show up again. We like new faces and this is an opportunity for either an NPC or some other face in the world even if they do not stay.
On the new/returning player's fifth week both recruiter and recruited gain an Uncommon Draw. This shows dedication to building story and relations with the new player. This is a thank you for giving the game an honest try and for helping to had personality to the game.
On the new/returning player's ninth week we will conduct a random lottery of the players that have signed in that night. The winner will receive a Rare Draw. Without the efforts of the community as a whole it is difficult to ensure a player continues to come back. An investment of two months by the game at large is worth a reward.
A New player is defined as a player that has not played at ECC since the Reset in August, 2014.
A Returning player is defined as a player that may or may not have drawn beads but did not submit a character for approval since August, 2014.
