Dear Mikhael,
Thank you for your letter. I must say that the means of delivery were slightly intimidating. I don't know how you are acquainted with a high standing member of the order, but I do hope you did not put yourself too far into debt for such a simple thing.
It was a much-needed comfort in a city that continues to have rather troubling troubles.
Did you know there are slugs, now, that eat... Mosquitoes? Yes! I was rather disturbed by the discovery myself. Apparently, they are much larger than your average slug; and a great deal faster.
I, fortunately, have not seen one myself...
But there have been a great deal things more disturbing than mosquito-eating slugs.
A Wild One, took me to investigate some recently deceased.
I could hear them from beyond. I could hear them questioning why their deaths had come about.
When I bend to examine the main point and purpose of my being there, I saw a man who screamed at me. "Why is she killing me?" I believe is what he asked.
I tried to make a drawing for the Wild One of what I'd seen... but I drew father. Not as I remember him, alive and his kindness, and his smile. I drew him elderly, with cold, dead eyes. It was a very good drawing... of a very disturbing memory or sight. I've enclosed the drawing, as I can not stand to look at it.
I returned to my apartment.
Bernard met me there and managed to soothe me from my fright. After some time and a quick bite, I was able to sit and try another drawing. It was even better than the first one, but it also happened to be of the gentleman Mirror who escorted me into the city from the airplane.
I returned to the meeting to deliver the drawing to the Wild One.
After that had been done, I headed to my most comfortable corner; the one where I used to wait for the Italians... but on my way there... something happened.
I woke up, laying the a patch of grass looking at a beautiful, clear sky covered in stars. Oh, brother, it was so beautiful. But, apparently it wasn't real. It was a thing called "The Game".
Rachel came and helped me to get out. I'm not entire sure what it really was, but Rachel seemed to have dealt with it before. I'm thinking that more understanding of a technological nature might be in my best interest...
I mean, aside from further securing my apartments from... Mosquito-eating slugs and the possibility of an enemy of the Order in the city.
I think from here going forward, I will keep Bernard closer... and, perhaps, I will remain home next week to further recover from my shock of the night.
Sending all my love,
~Harmony
