Inspiration has stricken me!

It is my hope to entertain a gathering with a game during the next formal court. I have seen great strides toward solving some of the goings on in the domain, as well as enriching all of our wellbeing with improvements. It is to that end I propose the following:

In two weeks’ time, the member that can present me and the domain the most compelling story of their deeds and accomplishments in the domain, a golden rose.

1. Duties must be fulfilled starting from the date of this letter.
2. There can only be one winner.
3. Entries will be heard publicly 5/21/2016 at 12:00 at the Elysium.
4. You may contest another’s feats in an attempt to sully them.
5. There are exceptions to the first 4 rules.

Everything was prepared. Tonight he felt the need for added security, he paid for a cheap motel; asking for a Eastern facing room. The bathroom was on the Western side which will help when daylight hits. Sunproofing the bathroom had become second nature, duct tape and heavy blankets were the bulk of his materials. Rhodes had been known to snuggle down in a thick sleeping bag, though. The tub was more comfortable than you might think for the undead.

It wasn't long now. Sunrise came early. The local news programs were just starting to come on the television. He had an untouched glass of whiskey and a fresh bottle sitting on the cheap table next to him, the letter was in his hand. Even as the news updated progress of the World of Shadows and Big O's restaurant, Rhodes' attention was on the letter he had recently acquired.

Prince Cucullati wanted to reward hard work and effort with a golden rose. Adorable. Unless that golden rose was going to be used for something like the Rite of Progeny, Domain, or a fancy new title; Rhodes wasn't interested. He had his own orders to follow, the South needed patrolling. There was a sense of purpose and dedication to keeping the Lupine influence from Tacoma out of Seattle.

He loved the idea, who better to do this than him?

Things were coming together nicely in the South. It would take a few weeks, maybe even a months time to settle the operation. Rhodes had all his investments tied in Bellingham with Shah Khohr's blessing. Praxis ruined that for him. Shah Khohr was no longer the Sheriff and the current Prince didn't give a damn about Rhodes' operations up North. It took time rearranging his efforts on the streets and bringing support down from the North. Two weeks wasn't a suitable deadline for his efforts.

He could feel the weight of the sun, settling upon the Beast. It made him lethargic. Rising, he slowly made his way to the door and opened it a crack, "Do Not Disturb" was hanging open for the maid's to obey. Closing the door, he ensured the locks were operational and then barricaded the door with the portable strut under the door knob. Never leave home without it, always in his duffel or the Jeep. Once certain his immortality was "safe" for the day, he made his way into the bathroom and shut the door behind him.

The next month or two was going to be interesting.
