Question about returning players.

Okay, so I'm chatting with Red and all (The ones who came in when I did and bailed later) and they said that They were convinced to return and begin with new characters this weekend. HOWEVER, I remember our benevolent WereST saying that there will be no new characters until mid-September.
So, my question IS: Would they be allowed to return this weekend with new characters and still play?

Inherently, the problem is that we don't have enough STs to run this game as it is, so regardless of whether the player has been playing recently or is completely new isn't important.

Well, the fact of the matter is that they WILL be coming this weekend, and they think they will still be able to play. On a less vital note, I for one think we have just enough ST's as it is, but the decision isn't up to me now is it?

I think you'd notice a huge difference if there was an AST for every pack, which would be ideal.

I agree. The only point I disagree with is why new players should be restricted until next week. Sure it's only a week, I personally don't mind, but why deny a few new characters until we have obtained idealism? It's just that I feel it's a bit uneccessary, especially since there are some nonST's who can run certain aspects of game, knowing enough of it.

In any case, this really is not the topic for such discussion. Therefore, I shall sit on my thumb and cope with the ST law until more ST's are obtained.

Frankly, running introduction scenes for new characters is very ST intensive. There are quite a few story things going on at the moment and, as it is, we spend a lot of time trying to hunt each other down for this or that thing.

Yes, there are certainly players that have been authorized to run tests. But tests are not scenes.

In another week, we should hopefully be able to handle the load better. Please, understand that it's not that we don't want people to come play! It's that we don't feel we can run a quality game with the man power we have.

Besides, nothing is barring them from attending and sitting on the sides and watching, working on their character histories or just chatting. We've seemed to gain a following of late that does just that... sits and watches. And we really would like character histories! They make entertaining so much easier when you have there on paper for us what you like.

Again, please, patience. We're working to resolve the issue so that we can better provide fun for everyone.

As I said, I realise the need for STs, and I understand that these scenes require ST accompaniment, therefore I will stop bitching about it. It really doesn't help anyway.

How many packs are there exactly because I think there is more than just 6... unless i used my thumb twice when I counted it last... maybe I did... might have to go back and check on that calculation and recallibrate the whatsidigit...

Well at last game I counted 5 with a possibility of 2 packs coming into the works here soon.
