*Notes the eerie, spooky silence surrounding the Were IC/OOC boards*
@_@
Yeah, so anyway... first of all, I would like to thank each and every last one of you for your support in my attempts to enrich your Emerald Sept Chronicles gaming experience. I would like to mention that I'm perpetually available for fielding questions, concerns and commentary, about myself and my methods or any other factor of this game that I have even a modicum of control over, and am more than willing to voice any of the following towards the other STs.
For a while now, I've known that our sphere is quite ST intensive. Vampire is a competitive game, and it is also primarily social to boot, which are a pair of features that explain why that game does not require nearly as many STs to run it. In a perfect world, I believe that this game requires at least one ST per pack, to allow each to run combats and act completely independently from one another. I've noticed that a great many people are restraining themselves from taking aggressive actions in this game, and I see that as a real shame, given that Werewolf is based around creatures designed to have really, really short fuses and a long list of hostile enemies.
So, to repair this situation, I took it upon myself to become an AST, so that I could make this game more enriched and enjoyable for everyone playing it. Let's be honest though - I would rather be playing a character than running a game, but that goes for most everybody. The difference is that I understand that if I want a fun, interactive, aggressive, immersive game, I'm going to need to do some time, so to speak, and in the interests of fairness, give you all a good story so that when it's time for me to return to the player base, I can be treated to a nice story of my own.
So I'd like to ask you - do you feel the same? Do you wish to help run this game so that your friends can fully enjoy it and engender the same bug in them so that some of them can return the favor at a later time? Hell, do you want to earn a veritable metric ass-ton(tm) of XP for your efforts, and spend it all on a new character at the end of your ST-ship? You know you do.
If any of this interests you, please notify the ST(s) of your choice with an email voicing your interest in joining our staff. (We also accept emails from people who know someone else they'd think would make a good ST, we'll talk to 'em about it.)
We'd love to have you. ;D
