So everyone can set the time zone they prefer to use in their profile, but even if you select Pacific - 8 as your timezone, there is still one more step to complete to have the time display correctly for you - Daylight Savings Time.
Click Profile on your profile, then click Modify Profile and make sure "Currently Observing DST:" is set to "Yes".
Again, this is not an overall board setting. It is up to each member to set those preferences how they prefer them. Preferably.
