Of all of the homid things in the world she didn't understand, there was one thing she did. Fawrion loved showers. Long, hot, soapy, luxuriating showers. It cleaned away all the bad that collected in ones life. Living was dirty, but there was always ways to fix it.
Fawrion raised her head and let the water wash over her face. She hoped it would scrub away the directions her thoughts had taken her. She turned around so she could take a breath, letting the water run through her hair and wash down her body and circle down the drain.
She had thought about the things her pack was proposing. She was garou, how could she not? The moment she'd laid eyes on him, she had wanted to claim him. There was just this tiny nagging thought that living with homids had pushed into her head. His wife. Although she was dead, it didn't change the fact that he still lived for her. Her brain kept getting all twisted up. Normally she wouldn't care, and she would have him as her own by now. These homids had gotten into her head about respecting others commitments. It wasn't territory anymore.
She wasn't willing to push. So she wasn't going to. She would make friends with him, protect him appropriately and see how receptive he was. Then she would make a move. And maybe by then, he'd be ready to change some things in his life as well.
Nuri started barking in her head, which damaged her calm and screwed up her thought process. So she ignored him. After the weird attitude he had adopted since they had arrived, she was seriously considering taking the pack and running. She wasn't going to leave anyone behind to be hurt by his wrath. Not even his beloved Lulu.
Her mind was shattered. She couldn't hold another thought correctly. Between the two conflicting thoughts, and Nuri's bellowing, the shower had put her in a bad mood, rather than the typical good one she always had afterwords.
Another voice shattered it farther. Sophia's small voice cut into her quiet. One voice she just couldn't shut out. "Fari, Lulu says Nuri is going after the mage who killed Rumor. She thinks he's going alone. Fari, he can't do that. You can't let him. Please!" 'Stupid son of...' Fawrion thought angrily. That was it. She had had it!
Fawrion slammed the faucet off, which she was sure broke it. She whipped the towel off the rod, tugging the rod slightly off it's screws. She would have to find a way to pay the woman's shelter back for their hospitality. She dried hurriedly, and threw her clothes back on. She rushed threw the braid job of her long hair, soaking the back of her shirt. Throwing the towel in the catch all laundry they had there, she slipped out the back door and ran as fast as she could for the bar. it wasn't far, but she was bound to catch the attention of a few people to take with her to go rescue her crazy, reckless alpha.
She strode through the back door, and went straight where Sophia and Lulu were huddled. Much to her surprise, Nuri was not far behind her. He asked if everyone was ready in a rather gruff tone. She flew off the handle at Sophia, letting her rage fly. "You told me he was going alone!" Sophia just told her to stop being a bitch and crossed her arms. Neither Alpha nor Beta were listening to her retort. Fawrion just grabbed her arm and followed Nuri and the group he had already gathered to go on this damn fool mission. She hoped they would return. For Lulu's sake, and a few others.
