Layla’s Lessons:
Well my Alpha Llue said I should keep a journal of all my lessons that I learn, something about learning from your mistakes. Last night I was given two wonderful lessons…
Layla’s Lesson Number one: Just cause you can, dosnt mean you should.
Story: Releasing 8 bloody bandages to a leech spirit is all fine and good. When I ripped up the bandages those leeches were rather hungry. All 8 of them decided I was their meal. I let them drink a bit- then it started to hurt. Llue started helping me pull the leaches off and well got most o them just fine. Then there was one left. Llue tried to pull it off and it didn’t come off, I wasn’t feeling so good at this point and someone always told me to get slugs off you had to scrape them off, it’s the same for leeches right? The awnser still might be yes, I’m not sure on that one. Anyways, I pull out my short sword and I go to remove the little blood sucker from my stomach. Sometimes I forget how strong I am. I woke up to Llue and a leech looking at me… More awkward than most my dreams.
Lesson: Well theres a couple here- First don’t try to remove a leech by scraping off your own skin. Second: Don’t do it with all your strength. Third: Making decisions with little blood flow can lead to you gutting yourself.
The only thing I probally did right was bringing my Alpha along. That’s what saved my ass too.
Layla’s Lesson number two: Don’t piss in the wind.
Story: This one wasn’t mine, it was also from last night though. Llue my alpha went to see the North Wind, he had apparently made it mad a few weeks ago when I had gone out of town. See he had spread some O’mally guys ashes and given the wind nothing for it. So the wind was mad at him, he’s talking to it and doe’s his I am scum contrition rite and it’s going good. Then the wind decides to tell him what his job is, he decided something else. Llue got mad, he shouted for the wind to SILENCE. Surprisingly it did. But that may not have been the best idea, he made it mad as hell.
The whole thing boils down to Llue telling it to take what it wants from him. This is about the part I stop understanding what’s happening since Llue is no longer telling me what the wind is saying. He’s kinda unconscious and being turned into an ice cube at this point. Finally the wind stops and I carry my naked ice cube of an alpha down the mountain and back to the caren where he is put on display to melt in the center of the caren.
I guard him as long as I can, he doen’t take TOO long to melt, I guess it is almost summer here though. By morning he’s almost dethawed and I take him home and put him to bed. I don’t think he’s awake yet, I’ll go check soon.
Lesson: Don’t tell the wind to be silent. You might not agree with it but don’t tell it to shut up. The wind is fucking powerful. Guess Llue’s temper is about as bad as mine.
