Hello again, only 2 weeks to go, the floor plan is blocked, and the directors are working furiously.
ALL the sts have said you get XP for helping, so if you haven't reached out to a director yet, please do. Several still need people as actors and backstage ninjas.
Go to a building party, it might even be fun!
Most awesomely, bring your bod and your wheels to help us with props and set up. The week of the HH we will have a calling all big ass cars and all ppl with the ability to carry stuff to come to the prop shop and collect props & bring them to the BGC. (firm date/time tba).
Thursday the 25th, in the evening (exact time tba) we will be allowed to start setting up. Nate (captain visqueen) will lead teams of eager volunteers in stringing the electricity and visqueening the walls thurs-sat. Directors will get their scenes in place, last minute quirks ironed out and hopefully still have time for last last minute shopping runs when it turns out there isn't enough duct tape. You will help make this happen, we need hands, feet, eyes and senses of gothic humor. Come help, get xp. Its awesome.

Hello, I've asked the directors to get their scenes up by Oct 1, so hopefully you'll all be able to see what we're doing and pick a scene to help out with.
Shopping will commence soon, and set building parties will be taking place over the next 3-4 weeks, so keep your eyes open!

So. 2 of the directors have had to bow out, we are now short on scenes, and really really really need some of you to step up.
I understand everyone is busy. I myself have a 40hr/wk job, and am also running my own business which I generally spend another 25-30 hrs a week on, and I'm working on a series of Chinese language books, and I also am, well, trying to run this Haunted House so we all have a place to play this winter. I don't really have time, either, but having a place for this game and this community to go is IMPORTANT to me, so I'm making time, even if it means I get a little less sleep or a little less "me" time.
The fact is, that the most responsible, capable people to do this, are the ones that already have full plates because they get sh*t done.
That said, PLEASE step up.
If you have already done so, then step up your game by reaching out to our current Directors (list below) and offer your help directly to them, share ideas and brainstorm, start your own email thread or board thread for the part of the Haunted House YOU care most about, make-up, costume, music, sets, whatever. DON"T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT.

PLEASE DO SOMETHING. This simply isn't something a dozen ppl can pull off, and it IS something that benefits everyone in this community. We need everyone to pitch in to make this year's Haunted House great. Do it for charity or do it for selfish reasons, but without this, we are out in the cold for the winter.
