I have heard a Rumor.
As many of my Brothers and Sisters might hear a similar Rumor I will lay it out here:
Luthius, Prince of the Emerald Domain has laid claim to the Praxis of Tacoma and Fall City.
Problem is that Fall City is under the Praxis of the Dona. Tacoma falls under the Praxis of the Anarchs with Richter as our chosen Baron.
In theory, and frankly in practice, both of those Domains are subordinated to the Praxis of Hans Madsen.
I truly hope that Luthius the Diablerist, Luthius who slew our Elders, Luthius Faith-Breaker, Luthius the Anachronism has not made such an utterly facetious claim. Richter is our Baron and Madsen is our King - We hold no truck with Princes. We barely tolerate the idea of a King and know that our Baron is our Champion in such matters.
But if there is a lesson from Kindred history is that any Prince rules only by the consent of the ruled; their subjects oft have the means to overthrow their Lords if the yoke is too onerous. Luthius by far has no consent among the Anarchs. Whether the Dona shall bend her neck to him is her concern, but I have doubts that she who is used to ruling will be ruled.
I doubt that such a Rumor is true. Why?
Because it would foment a war. Any Prince but Luthius Kin-Slayer and we Anarchs would have a laugh and say 'What a tosser.' Luthius... That would be a grave insult. An insult that might take the peace negotiated under Ileana and toss it out a window. The sort of slight that might even get Colin Heart to move North from Portland with his warriors.
All at a time when the Sabbat are prowling the borders of the Camarilla, when dark forces stir against all of us, when Luthius has a war half-fought with some really fucking pissed Packs back in Spokane...
A fight with the Anarchs serves no purpose but that of the Sabbat and the mutual enemies of the Camarilla and the Anarchs.
Honestly, that is what frightens me the most. The man who would start a war with the Lupines and then antagonize them further during negotiations is certainly overconfident enough to think that he can fight a multi-front war with his closest neighbors who have near-perfect intelligence as to the inner workings of his domain, it's practices, and habits.
For the Camarilla, this isn't a call to war. This is more of a plea: If there is such a proclamation, make it known that you repudiate it. Primogen of the Clans, do not make war against us. Cry out against the madness of such a thing. Warriors of the Camarilla, we seek no fight with you - You are comrades in arms against common foes.
Madsen, our King! We were promised our autonomy so long as we obeyed your law - Call your Vassal to heal so that we may focus on our mutual threats.

To my Brothers and Sisters: Some of you may welcome a war with the North; you are fools. The Seattle Domain has been a training ground for strongest for years. Those that have survived this long have done so by being faster, tougher, meaner that anything they have fought. And they have fought a lot.
We are best served in peace.
But that does not mean Richter will bend to the yoke of Luthius. I certainly won't. We are Tacoma. We are Anarch. We are Free. If this is a true thing, a real statement of his expression of Power, then I invite Luthius, Prince of the Emerald Domain, to attempt to take the Praxis of Tacoma. Luthius can seize this Praxis in only one manner and it would be most bloody.
I do believe it will be, no matter which way it goes, a most bitter victory for the winner.
