Strange symbols in the place of punctuation

I'm seeing a strange symbol crop up in my posts ...a square with an 'FFFD' in it where ever there's supposed to be a comma, or an apostrophe, or an elipsis, etc...

It makes things virtually unreadable.

Please advise?

Certain browser plug-ins for certain browsers may attempt to add things to the viewing experience by modifying what you see on a given webpage. Not all plug-ins do this equally well.



I've viewed several of your posts in Chrome, Firefox and IE and I didn't see what you are mentioning, so it's likely that there's a faulty browser plug in installed in your browser that is causing the oddity. You can confirm this by looking at your posts in a different bowser. To resolve the issue you'd need to turn off the plug-in which is causing the blip, which is a matter of trial and error.
