A guy wandered by my club with a dope needle still sticking out of his arm. Still tied up with a rubber hose. My man says he ended up losing that arm later. And still this guy was not the most miserable creature I saw last saturday. I saw a lady thrown in a pit, and she ended up stabbed, half-burned, and crazy (redundant, right? I already said lady. yuk yuk those dames can be crazy)
But I digress. Hell, I never even started, so it’s not even a digression, it’s like a rambling old geezer just flapping yapper going bonkers here to yonder Yonkers. But where was I?
Right. I could barely hear myself think at the gathering because of all the telephone calls and letters that flooded to me from around the world. Everybody was talking about Henry Allen Raven. Justicar Madame Guil, the Grand Harpy of North America Beatrix Magnano, Archon Iwain Aptheris, and eleven other members in good standing spoke to me, in addition to the others who threw their hats in on the matter earlier. So it appears a lot of people, in high places and modest places, have great confidence in Primogen Raven’s insight on this one.
That confidence was borne out, because our Prince Dario D’Ragno has judged there to be insufficient evidence that Ajax is guilty of the accusations. In due prudence, he has been sent to be held by his sire in New York under close supervision.
If you have an opinion on whether we currently speak appropriately of the kindred mixed up in this matter, speak to me by 1 o’clock. If I am engaged (it is an accounting after all), approach Sarah Smith or Primogen Sonya Dombroski about it.
Speaking of Sonya Dombroski, I am lucky that she has agreed to assist in the task of speaking about current events. As I am known as Brave, let her be Brave as a lesser Harpy.
Speaking of bravery, it seems that Dr. Kira Langston has chosen to serve the Camarilla even as she steps away from the Nosferatu clan. She has cut ties from them, and I am informed that the feeling is mutual. Caitiff Langston brought this matter before the Prince, and vowed her continuing loyalty to his praxis, the Camarilla, and the city, which he accepted. That’s a lonely road.
Boons. There is some discussion about a matter of a Major boon. If the interested parties would see me before 1 o’clock on this matter, I would appreciate it. For their role in discovering his innocence, Ajax owes Henry Allen Raven 2 Blood boons and Archon Samuel Sorrow a Minor boon. The Blood boons are for speaking up for him in such a serious matter, and for seeking the wisdom of our elders. Ajax says he owes me a Major boon for asking his permission to search his mind, which I was going to have to do either way, but I figure it was a Minor formality.
I mentioned earlier that we are holding an Accounting. 11pm sharp. Bring paper with status written on it. Don’t invite riffraff. The lovely Cecilia D’Amore has invited every Acknowledged member for this one night only, so be classy. This is the time for reckoning. If you think somebody is known for something that they are not, now is the time to bring it up.
