With Prince Dario and Keeper Cecelia away on business, it was supposed to be quiet night in Elysium with Senschal Seraphina in attendance at Tiki Tom’s, Host (and temporary Keeper) Mad Tom’s Elysium. It was not.
During the evening, the gargoyle, Sebastian, suddenly frenzied in the middle of a quiet conversation with Primogen Hashomer and War Master Luthias. Being the Savvy man that he is, Mad Tom sensed the gargoyle’s sudden change in demeanor and attempted to grapple Sebastian before he attacked. The supernaturally quick gargoyle sidestepped the Host and made it to his target: Diplomatic Toreador Roy G. Biv… with Luthias quick on his heels.
What ensued was almost faster than the eye could follow: Sweets and Luthias grappling Sebastian, who shouted that he was not in control, while the new Tremere, White Rain, conjured a wall of water to block the gargoyle’s movement. Subdued, Luthias grabbed Sebastian, took him through the wall of water, and removed him from Tiki Tom’s while Roy G. Biv’s ghouls grabbed their domitor and spirited him to safer places.
As that occurred, Mad Tom suddenly staked Archon Sorrow, announcing that he had seen the Nosferatu “throw his beast” into Sebastian, deliberately provoking the frenzy. Archon Sorrow was taken to the back room and it was verified by two sources that the Archon had caused Sebastian’s frenzy in Elysium.
Justicar Tegyrius was contacted. Archon Sorrow was immediately recalled to face the Justicar’s judgment. As Seneschal Seraphina stated when this was announced, “Even those of high standing will be judged.”
Mad Tom forgave the other uses of disciplines that occurred in Elysium in the subduing Sebastian and limiting the damage done by such a formidable warrior.
However, later, Mad Tom did not forgive Luthias the sudden appearance of a wind spirit in Elysium despite the Tremere’s swift removal of said spirit. Luthias agreed to pay a Minor boon for the minor trespass. Mad Tom immediately called in the boon and requested that Tiki Tom’s be warded against such incursions in the future. Luthias agreed.
Speaking of Boons…
Boons Owed
Primogen Tomadius owes Luthias a Major boon for damage to property done to his haven by outside Nosferatu.
Nosferatu Whip, Moira, owes Luthias a Major boon for the release of herself and Doc from the War Master’s custody.
Primogen Tomadius owes Assistant Harpy Sarah Smith a Major boon for covering up a matter of importance to him.
Boons Paid
Primogen Henry Allen Raven paid off two Minor boons and one Trivial boon to Sarah Smith to deal with a complex matter and to keep his silence about it.
Changes in Status…
Seneschal Seraphina granted the status of Tolerated to Independent Gangrel, Karl Magnusson, formerly of Minneapolis. Before Mr. Magnuson left the Camarilla, he was held in moderate regard by the court there and did come to Seattle with a letter of recognition.
Seneschal Seraphina granted the status of Tolerated to Independent Gangrel, Simon. In stark contrast to Mr. Magnuson, Simon stated he wanted to join the Camarilla. He was last seen speaking with Primogen Geist. A little bird tells me that Primogen Geist will be re-presenting Simon to the court next week for formal acknowledgment into the Camarilla and the court.
Primogen Tomadius finds his whip, Moira, to be Loyal.
