My fellow citizens and guests of the Emerald Domain, during the discussion that led to my ascension to be voice of the Primogen Council, we discussed the matter of misbehavior among Whips, Lesser Harpies, Deputies to the Sheriff and other assistants to Court Positions.
The council in its entirety agreed that should an individual of assistance (who is, of course, otherwise acknowledged in Seattle) misbehave in a fashion that does not breach the Hallowed Traditions of our Great Society; that individual will be punished or corrected for their actions directly. Should multiple occurrences of scandalous behavior fall upon the same assistant, the one who is served will then be sought out for scandal or other punishment.
In other words, if a Deputy to the Sheriff misspeaks to an elder in Elysium, even in the course of his duties; this Deputy would be scandalized, not our feared Sheriff. However, if a whip to a Primogen were to lose control of himself in Council multiple times after suffering social stigma for his actions, the Primogen would then be looked to for scandal.
Know that your Primogen Council sees the sins of the individual and does not seek to cast stones further than the head of the guilty party. I applaud them this forward thinking declaration.
