Hello, darlings!
My name’s Bella Maurice. With the recent departure of Mr. Boren of Clan Ventrue, I have stepped forward to serve as your new Harpy. Some of you I have had the pleasure of knowing for my years previously spent in Seattle; some of you I had the opportunity to meet for the first time at Saturday’s gathering. The rest of you, I look forward to meeting. I’m sure we’ll be the best of friends.
Upon my return, it’s been made apparent to me that the pulse of my city is as strong as ever, and as your voice I will ensure the rest of the world hears the melody of her heart.
I will admit I came to Seattle with a separate motivation: to seek help in locating and rescuing Fat Tony, Harpy of Chicago. While securing his safety is still at the forefront of my mind, I assure you it will not interfere in my duties as Harpy.
A coterie has been formed to organize and move forward with this effort. If you believe you may be able to assist, please contact either myself, Mr. Tom Mercer, Mr. Eldritch, Mr. Akos Diak, or Mr. Marcus Colson.
There also seems to be a matter of conflict between Keeper Tom Mercer and some visitors from out of town - Tremere, who go by the names Ana Peeps (formally Ana Alistair), Agmid, and Mollin Stolen. This came to light near the time we were dispersing for the evening, but you can bet I’ll get the information out as it comes.
As of right now, it seems the evidence is inconclusive and this will become a matter of Status. Sky has already lent her name to the Keeper in this matter.
If you would like to support a side in this with your status, or if you have information on the situation you may have that you would like to share, please shoot me a mail.
Apparently the evidence for this presumed situation was very conclusive. I was lead to believe this was a Harpy issue, however it seems the issue being fought against is that the Keeper, Tom Mercer, stripped Malin, the Primogen of Surrey, and Ana Peeps, the Primogen of London of [[to be named by staff]] and [[to be named by staff]], respectively, for using powers on both Seneschal Jibran, as well as Ariel Martin in the Elysium parking lot. This has been punished before, with a Brujah as the offender rather than the offended, and the grounds of Elysium are widely known to be considered protected by the laws of Elysium in Seattle.
Although the Primogen deny the use of powers, the Keeper has the right to strip status for breaches of Elysium, period. As it was the Keeper himself who confirmed these breaches, there's no wiggle room for a Harpy to decide who 'wins' here. The status is gone. Poof!
Should the ladies like their status back, and have any level of cleverness, perhaps they should try impressing someone in the Court (Jibran may be a poor choice of target), or perhaps even their Primogen with a positive deed on behalf of the Domain. It's a simple thing, right? If you lose something for doing something bad, typically you can do something good to earn it back.
Right?
Michael Thomas, a Lesser Harpy from Milan, had a heated conversation with Tristan McKenna in the middle of Elysium. Dear Keeper Tom reminded them of the rules of Elysium, but insisted that they were doing nothing wrong in the moment, so long as it did not escalate any further. The words exchanged between these two Toreador were quick and cutting. It was truly artful.
A Child under the care of the Prince chose to interrupt him to correct him, and so until the Ventrue known as Amelia can learn to hold her tongue until a more opportune time, she will be known as Evelyn.

In Matters of Status
Sky loans Mad Tom Dedicated in the matter of Keeper vs. Out of Town Tremere.
In Matters of Boons
Michael Thomas owes Akos Diak one Trivial for “lost keys.”
