Hello all. I'm playing around with an info sheet for staff/player use. This info sheet is not yet official and may end up not being used. That all depends on if you, the players, want to use it.
My goal is to have a sheet that can be reviewed in real time by both players and staff. Right now most of this information is sent to and kept by ST's. It incorporates the Background Surveys along with Haven info.
As most of us know our PC's change over time. Feeding habits, havens, Allies, Enemies, Secrets, etc.
The hopeful benefits are as follows:
1. Staff always has the most up to date info provided, no loosing it in a pile of emails.
2. Players feel more confident that staff is using the correct info.
3. Some fields can be edited anytime by the player, other fields can be locked by the ST in case they need approval or alter mechanics (like feeding).
4. Keeps a lot of information in a single area.
5. ! Staff and players both have confidence that the correct security system is in use.
6. Less cards, scrapes of paper and conversations are lost.
7. Most smart phones can be used to access it any time.

^ The above link is an example of a filled out sheet. This link is only used when you want to make changes. The main page is mostly blank, click the tabs at the bottom to move around.

^ This link is a webpage that is Read only and should be easy to use for any computer/smartphone. You would use this link anytime you want to look at the sheet. Loads faster!
I'm not done moving things around and adding more stuff. I would also LOVE some feedback! Do you like this idea? Do you not like this idea? Why? Would you like this to be used for game? What would you add?
Are you using a cell phone to look at this? Is it slow? Hard to use?
Important notes:
Don't worry about privacy! This will only be viewable by Staff and the single Player, no one else can see it unless you let them see it.
Getting this filled out, it looks like to much work! Don't worry about this yet. Not all areas HAVE to be filled out. A lot of it is made to be filled out after the PC enters play. It is then going to be a "living document" that will change as the PC changes.
ZERO secret ST only info will be on this sheet. I may make a secret sheet later for ST use only.
Some things will not be editable by players, everything else will be. I'm going to set it so that when you want to make an edit then it will be simple and easy for both players and staff.
This will be tied to the main Vampire account. So new staffs will auto inherit all the sheets with very little work.
I don't have a computer... We will work out a method for this.
This WONT replace grapevine! This is another tool, not a replacement.
What are some of the things you might add? ((Not my focus, may never happen! Just ideas))
Blood bank- Got a bunch of cards with stored blood? Tried of hauling them around? Why not just hand them to an ST and have your sheet tack it for you! It should only take a few moments for an ST to add/remove blood!
Resource tracker/money bank- The player no longer needs to get resource cards every month. The sheet can keep track for you and you can then just pull the money any time. They can also give the ST's their money cards and bank all their money. Less lost cards/ST's forgetting to give out resources!
Favor tracking- Did you ask for a loan of status from that Gangrel primogen? Maybe YOU gave them your status? I'm thinking a page to track all this would be cool for the player and staff. Never know when you/they might want to call in that favor!
Willpower quests? Tenet points?
I wouldn't mind adding links to the website so that it will be easier for the players to find information.
Diary- would be kinda fun to have a place to log all your adventures. Would also be nice for the Staffs to peek through when looking for ideas >
Why are you even doing this?
I would love for staff to have more of a partnership with players over PC information. I know people want staff to have more openness with players. I want staff to always be able to have the correct information about a PC. I don't want to see anymore lost information, neither do players! Honestly I also want to transfer some of the work from the ST's to the players. Hopefully this will help some players develop their PCs as well as let the ST's focus less on paperwork and more on stories! (Players love stories)
