Everyone who was at game last week will have heard my announcement that I am running for HST. I'm putting up this thread to confirm that announcement and as a place to post details as they become available. I'll be happy to answer everyone's questions about my staff and our vision as we go along.
First, as a place to start and to hopefully generate some excitement, we're working on something cool to post here and hand out at game that should give everyone a good idea of our philosophy and a sample of what we will bring to the table if we're elected.
So far Gavin and Elspeth have volunteered to AST, and Jeff Cook (used to play Scales of Anubis and has recently been showing up to NPC as Falcon's Fury) has offered to be available whenever his schedule will allow, which will hopefully be often. Michelle Downing would be our full-time paper-table. We plan to have one more full-time AST and are currently exploring a few options.
Some may not know Jeff, but he brings many years of Larp storytelling experience to the table and Michelle has a masters degree in library science with a doctorate from the school of hard knocks in organizing gamers. She has offered to help work on some really cool projects for us and to be available at game. She would not be a player, and would likely work on other projects when not needed for paper-table related things. She is a great resource and I'm really excited to have her on-board.
Keep an eye on the boards over the next few weeks for a much more detailed description of what we have planned.
