KJET ACTION NEWS - DATELINE FRIDAY - JULY 24TH - 2015
People are beginning to hear about a terrible event that occurred weeks ago at the ill-fated 'fight club' known as the Sand Pit, a fighting ring for burgeoning MMA fighters here in the Evergreen State, where several children lost their lives at the hands of a disturbed individual.
Full Disclosure: Our rival KMRLD originally broke the story when the parents went directly to the news organization for help in locating them, only to later learn that the Police Department had been aware of their children's deaths and had chosen not to alert the parents pending a highly secretive investigation. The department claimed that they were aware of the outrage that these deaths would cause, and sought to secure as much evidence as possible before going forward with the information and evidence they had collected. Even the Chief of Police has been reticent to give statements about the issue.
But KJET seeks, as always to get to the heart of the issue.
Certainly, six children are confirmed dead. Unofficially the police are calling it a blood bath.
City Hall has gone black on the issue. They mayor has refused to make a statement. Whatever politics are behind that decision will likely define the next primary. At least preliminary, in an interview with local radio station KSR, the Deputy Mayor claims that the ensuing media maelstrom was a conspiracy to cover up the blatant safety issues with the Kid Scouting programming in Seattle, up to and including the events of the children using homeless man 'Skipper', who is still at large as an adult front for illegal activities.
KJET will have more on this as the story develops.
