What an exsistence.
He was still in a state of complete unrest, after arriving from Zurich and making sure he found his way to hand in his letter to the prince A. found that there were FAR too many things he didn't know.
The rules on the wall and those he were taught, were not the rules enforced on the spot.

The Traditions:
The Masquerade = Enforced only on those who are in disfavour. If you screwed this one up and you had friends, nobody cares.
The Domain = This is apparently an excuse to keep those without Cam representation out of good places, or to charge them TOLLS for exsisting. Nobody was going to find out who's domain he lived in, he didn't even know himself.
The Progeny = Don't make more vampires, why? You might get too many of your own friends. If the secret behind his embrace was found out... well, his paperwork and refferences were good at least, who checks up on that crap anyways?
The Accounting = A way to keep those younger in check, this one didn't make any sence. His sire never held him in accounting, but made sure he could mouth the words that he had been 'released'. Damn right he was released, nobody could boss this man arround.
Hospitality = Seen damn little of this in Seattle, at least from the Cam, the independents were at least willing to talk and be social.
Destruction = Yup, a lot of it. Apparently vampires were involved in a war where final death as they call it is rampent.
A. Reached for his pen, he wrote down them all again just to be sure he didn't forget. There were so many things he had trouble remembering. He was starting to forget what a good shot of burbon tasted like. He had only been un-dead less than a year.
He had talked with vamps that claimed to be hundreds of years old, more than four centuries if they were to be believed. The questions he had asked were important... what made it worth living for so long, what was important to them after so long... the best answer he had heard from the only one who hadn't had to think about the answer and the one he was most willing to believe haunted his thoughts... " Fear " At the time he had been incredious and had said as much.. he could still hear the vamp say on his way out of the bar ... You'll see for yourself soon enough.. He was already afraid, afraid of forgetting what was important in life..
A grim smile crossed his face, Life.. he didn't have THAT to worry about anymore. But his ideals remained, money, sex and power. The sex had gone sour, but he kept it up out of habit, the money spent the same... the power? He saw those who had it, and had even challenged those with it, he hoped he had been subtle enough with the prince. He didn't see anyone on the way back to his hideout, and his people had his safehouse watched... he made sure they watched the sky too, someone had said something about them being able to fly or be invisible and mention was made of a flying gargoyle. They didn't appear to be kidding either.
He was ready to believe anything at this point...
Good thing none of them knew his real name.
